Do you know or work with a general practice nurse who deserves recognition? The General Practice Nursing Awards 2018 are now open and looking for nominations.
Hosted by the Yorkshire & Humber General Practice Nursing Awards Committee, the awards aim to recognise and reward the vital contribution practice nurses provide in primary care.
The judges are seeking nominations for practice nurses who consistently deliver confident, contemporary care and who also consistently perform above what is considered as the ‘norm’ for their peer group.
The awards will be hosted in each Sustainability Transformation Partnership (STP) / Accountable Care System (ACS) footprint during February 2018, with a final Yorkshire and Humber wide award ceremony in March 2018.
Who can nominate
Members of the public are able to nominate in the people’s choice award category. For the remaining categories nominations should come from either the nurse or colleagues.

Deadline: Nominations must be submitted by Midday 6 February 2018
