Future of Swillington, Rothwell and Middleton GP surgeries

The Primary Care Commissioning Committee (PCCC) makes decisions on how NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) Partnership plans and commissions primary care services.

A spokesperson for the NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Groups Partnership said: “The Primary Care Commissioning Committee met in public on Tuesday 30 January to make a decision about the future of Swillington, Rothwell and Middleton GP surgeries.

“The committee confirmed the decision that Rothwell and Middleton GP surgeries will continue to operate as main surgeries and will now go through a procurement process to identify new providers. The committee agreed that Swillington Health Practice, will remain as a local site and discussions will take place with local providers to secure GP services for the registered population.
