NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting members of the public to its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday 24 July from 4.30 – 5.30pm at Leeds Town Hall, Albert Room, The Headrow, Leeds, LS1 3AD.
The CCG is responsible for planning and funding (commissioning) the majority of health services for people in Leeds.
At the AGM the CCG’s annual report and accounts for 2018-19 will be formally accepted. Attendees will also hear about the progress the CCG has made and will be able to access the annual review covering the key achievements and challenges faced by the commissioning body.
Dr Gordon Sinclair, Clinical Chair at NHS Leeds CCG, said: “Attending the AGM is a great opportunity for members of the public in Leeds to find out what the CCG is doing to improve healthcare across Leeds. It’s also a chance for you to see how we have performed over the past 12 months.
“You will also have the chance to meet the Governing Body and ask any questions. We will be presenting our annual review which includes information about the financial expenditure of the CCG and our citywide work. We hope you will join us to reflect on our successes and find out more about our plans moving forward.”
Anyone who is interested in attending the AGM, should email [email protected] or call 0113 8435470.
Anyone who is unable to attend but would like to ask the Governing Body questions in advance can do so by emailing [email protected] no later than Monday 22 July.
