YoungMinds has a range of information to young people and children about mental health and emotional wellbeing.
The YoungMinds website has a section for children and young people which includes information on how to look after yourself, information on common mental health problems, what to do if your unhappy with your treatment and real life stories.
YoungMinds has also developed Head Meds a website dedicated to helping young people understand more about medication they may be offered.
YoungMinds has a dedicated helpline for parents. If you’re worried about a child or young person’s behaviour or mental health you can call the YoungMinds Parents’ Helpline free on 0808 802 5544 (Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4pm) or you can fill out a contact form.
The YoungMinds website includes a survival guide for parents and carers as well as other resources that can help you understand or support any child or young person you look after.
YoungMinds offer a range of services including training and consultancy for professionals who come into contact with children and young people.
