COVID-19 vaccine experience feedback

We're working with Primary Care Networks and community vaccination hubs to collect feedback from patients getting their vaccines.

Brief description of project

Healthcare services in Leeds are working incredibly hard to protect the city against the impact of COVID-19. As we continue vaccinating the population, we are keen to hear from people about their experiences of booking and attending a vaccination clinic in the city.

We will use your comments to feedback to our vaccination teams, to inform others about what to expect when going for their vaccination, and to help improve the vaccination experience for everyone in Leeds wherever we can.

Who will we speak to?

We want to hear from anyone who has booked and had a vaccination at any of the COVID-19 vaccination clinics in the city, this includes the mass vaccination centres at Elland Road and the Thackray Museum. You don’t need to live in Leeds to give us your feedback.

What and how will we ask?

We are asking people to rate their experience of booking a vaccine appointment, and of attending a vaccination clinic in Leeds, by completing a short online survey. We are also asking people for general comments about their experience.

You can share your views online by clicking the button below to take you to the survey. We’re also attending vaccination clinics to get people’s feedback as they leave the vaccination centres.

Share your experiences of getting a COVID-19 vaccination

If you would like a paper copy of the survey please email leedsccg.comms@nhs.net or call 0113 843 5470.

You can download a copy of the paper survey (in the Downloads section below) and either print it out and post it back to us or email it to us at leedsccg.comms@nhs.net. The Freepost address to send back paper copies can be found in the paper survey download.

If you would prefer to speak to someone about your experiences, please get in touch on the contact details above.

How can you help?

There are a number of ways you can help support this piece of work.

Complete our survey. You can complete our survey online by clicking the button below. If you’d prefer a paper copy of the survey, or in a different format, please get in touch on the contact details above.

We’d appreciate any help you can give in sharing this piece of work with anyone you feel would be interested, and who has had their vaccination. This includes family members, neighbours, friends, and social media.

If you’re a member of a Patient Participation Group (PPG) at your GP practice, we’d encourage you to share this work with your group and think about how you might support this work. If you would like to talk about how your PPG could be involved feel free to get in touch on the contact details below.

What will we do?

We will review the responses we collect regularly and feedback to relevant teams in the city. We’ll also share insights on our social media and in a report summarising the feedback.

We will be publishing weekly reports below on this website. We’ll also detail how we have improved things based on your feedback. We will aim to write a complete report once the work on vaccinating has finished.

If you have any questions about this engagement please contact Caroline Mackay on caroline.mackay2@nhs.net or 0113 843 5470.
