Have a say in how your local health services are delivered by signing up to your GP practice's patient participation group.
Members are usually a group of volunteer patients, the practice manager and one or more of the GPs from the practice, who meet on a regular basis to discuss the services on offer, and how improvements can be made for the benefit of patients and the practice. Some practices also have ‘virtual groups’ who regularly communicate by email.
To find out more, get in touch with the practice manager at your GP surgery.
The patient participation groups undertake an annual patient survey to improve ways of working and relationships between patients and the practice staff and GPs. If you want to take part in this survey ask at your practice.
