We worked with PPGs in Leeds to develop a plan to provide access to funding that helps address health inequalities
At recent PPG events, we received feedback from PPG members that their groups could benefit from funding to help support their work. Following this, the CCG was able to make some funds available for practices and their PPGs to apply for.
We were encouraging applications from individual practices and groups of practices in an area or Primary Care Network (PCN) to apply for funding to support a project that demonstrates collaborative working between the practice and the PPG that seeks to address and reduce health inequalities.
The current funding application is now closed and we’re in the process of evaluating the bids. We will be in contact with all PPGs and practices who submitted a bid to inform of the outcomes soon.
